Visit Jamba Juice Near Walt Disney World at Crossroads at Lake Buena Vista
Convenient Location
Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of visiting a brand new Jamba Juice location in the Lake Buena Vista area, just outside Walt Disney World property. It’s conveniently located in the shopping plaza known as Crossroads at Lake Buena Vista. Crossroads is directly opposite Hotel Plaza Boulevard and just off I-4 Exit 68, which makes it an easy stop on your way to Downtown Disney or the Walt Disney World theme parks, or on your way to I-4 if you’re traveling from Disney area to Universal Orlando, SeaWorld or someplace else.
The brightly colored and fresh smelling store front has plenty of seating inside and out.
Jamba Juice Crossroads is quite welcoming, especially due to the very friendly and knowledgeable staff. If you have a chance to meet Dion the General Manager, make sure you say hello! He’s lots of fun and he’s committed to supporting the local community with fundraisers, healthy living education and donation of both products and his and the staff’s time. This team gives back to local organizations like Second Harvest Food Bank and Give Kids the World! Dion is also a real life example of healthy living having lost 120 lbs and transforming his life! Way to go, Dion!
Grand Opening Celebration!
Though it’s already open and the team is happily making it a “A Better Whirl’d,” the Crossroads location will hold their official Grand Opening Celebration Saturday, June 27, 2015 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. They’ll be offering complimentary samples of smoothies, juices and bowls!
Menu
Jamba Juice offers a beverage menu of Classic Smoothies, Fruit & Veggie Smoothies, Creamy Treat Smoothies, Specialty Smoothies and new Freshly Squeezed Juices. All are made with whole foods and with no preservatives or artificial sweeteners. Smoothies and juices are all made to order, so you are getting the freshest juice made right on display in front of you!
The friendly folks at Jamba Juice were kind enough to invite us to the new store to show us around and give us a preview of the healthy and delicious offerings they’ll be sharing with the Orlando area. Here’s a look at a small sample of what they have to offer:
I started off with a delicious Greens ‘n Ginger Fruit & Veggie Smoothie. It was made of kale, peach, mango, lemon and ginger, which gave me 3.5 servings of fruits and veggies. I really like green juices and smoothies, so this tasted great to me. The fruit gives it plenty of sweetness and the lemon and ginger together gave it refreshing kick!
They say it’s “raw liquid gold” but on the menu it’s just called a Wheatgrass Shot. The Vitamin K packed Wheatgrass shot is said to be great for your hair, nails, and skin. We were told 1 oz of wheatgrass contains the nutrients you’d get in 1 lb of veggies!
Next, samples were served of Classic Smoothies. These are made with non-fat frozen yogurt or sherbet, so they contain milk, which is clearly labeled on the menu. The first served was Strawberries Wild Smoothie (Strawberries, Bananas and Apple, 2.5 fruit servings per 16 oz. cup).
The second served was Caribbean Passion Smoothie (Mango, Strawberry, Peach, Orange and Passion Fruit, 2.5 fruit servings per 16 oz. cup). I didn’t sample these because of the milk content, but others said these were sweet, creamy and quite delicious! Everyone seems to really like them.
Next, samples of two items from the Freshly Squeezed Juice menu were served. First, was a new menu item, the Citrus Kick (3 fruit servings per 16 oz. cup). It’s one of the most popular Juices and it contains orange, apple, pineapple and ginger, which is where the kick comes from! This item is sure to be a crowd pleaser, especially if you like ginger.
After that was Veggie Vitality (5 fruit & veggie servings per 16 oz. cup), which is made of carrot, apple, spinach, kale and chia seeds. My food sensitivities kept me from tasting this one, but it was fun to watch the others reluctantly taste the green juice. Much to their surprise, everyone said it was actually pretty good! I bet it was!
Though they are known for their smoothies and juices, Jamba Juice does offer small food items, like Energy Bowls. Shown below is a sample of the Acai Primo Bowl, which is Acai juice, soymilk, blueberries, strawberries and bananas topped with organic granola, fresh bananas, fresh blueberries, coconut and a drizzle of honey. Yum!
They also have organic steel-cut oatmeal with your choice of toppings, Small Bistro Sandwiches, Artisan Flatbreads, Baked Goods and Breakfast Wraps.
These healthy breakfast offerings make Jamba Juice a great place to kick start your day before heading into the theme parks.
We were also offered samples of their Sweet Belgian Waffle, which is described as having a hint of vanilla and a slight sugary crunch. I didn’t try this one, but my friend Kim from KimandCarrie.com did. She said she had recently tasted these waffles at Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District Jamba Juice location and loved them. She was pleased that they tasted the same here and now she can now get them locally in Orlando, too!

A Note About Allergies
Jamba Juice doesn’t use any preservatives or added sweeteners. Most Classic and Treat smoothies contain milk and/or soy. Fruit & Veggie Smoothies contain the items listed on the menu board as well as some juice concentrates. Fresh Squeezed Juices contain only what is listed on the menu board. A full ingredients binder is available at the front counter for your reference.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, you should ask them. The staff at Jamba Juice is very knowledgeable about allergies, cross-contamination and making modifications for customers’ needs. After you advise the cashier of your concerns, they can wash everything that will come in contact with your items, including the utensils. They also have a peanut-free area that can be used to prep your choice.
My concerns were easily addressed and I felt very comfortable that the staff was providing clear and accurate information. That was as refreshing as my smoothie!
Thank you to the owners and staff at Jamba Juice at Crossroads for allowing me to sample and share your wonderful offerings. I’m so excited to have you in my area! You can expect me and my husband to become regulars in no time. Best wishes with the new store!
