Check Out the July 4th Magic Kingdom Fireworks from a Private Bungalow
What was it like to watch Magic Kingdom “Celebrate America” 4th of July fireworks from a private deck at one of Disney’s Polynesian Resort’s new Bora Bora Bungalows? Watch and see!
This video shows our view of of Disney’s “Celebrate America – a Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” on July 4, 2015 as seen from the brand new Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Bungalows! Disney describes the show as ‘a vibrant fireworks display that paints the sky above Cinderella Castle, so Guests are immersed in a red, white and blue pyrotechnic revue,’ and we agree!
On this night, it was drizzling rain and there was some fog, but we still had an incredible show from the private deck at our very own over-the-water Bungalow at the new Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows. This is a new DVC resort where the Bora Bora bungalows are located out on the water of the Seven Seas Lagoon!
You’ll notice the sound going in and out in the video, too. There were apparently problems with the resort live feed of the show soundtrack. We heard from a friend who was staying at Bay Lake Tower that they had the same issues. Luckily, at Disney’s Polynesian Village, the Electrical Water Pageant sits just offshore during the 4th of July show and the barges have their own speakers. So we had music the entire time even when our personal speaker didn’t work.
Despite the rain and the technical difficulties, it was a great experience! The fireworks were spectacular, the view was terrific and the company we were with was the best!
