"Cake Boss" Carlo's Bakery Coming to Florida Mall

Holy Cannoli! Cake Boss Bakery Coming to Orlando Dec 5th!

Carlo’s Bakery is following in our New Jersey to Florida footsteps this ~~summer~~ fall. Though the original remains in Hoboken, Carlo’s Bakery has already expanded to eleven other locations in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Nevada and Pennsylvania. The twelfth and newest sweet spot will be located in southwest Orlando at The Florida Mall.

**Update Nov 10, 2015: The news you have all been waiting for….Carlo’s Bakery will be opening December 5, 2015 at The Florida Mall!**

**Update Nov 18, 2015: “Cake Boss” star and Carlo’s owner, Buddy Valastro and his family have attended grand openings in other locations, so it’s possible that he will make an appearance for the The Florida Mall location. Though it has not been officially announced at this time, Buddy retweeted our tweet today (Nov 18, 2015) saying that he will appear. See below.**

Carlo’s Bakery, which was made famous by TLC’s show “Cake Boss,” is one of 27 shops and eateries planned for a new Dining Pavilion debuting at The Florida Mall this summer. The 105,000-square-foot, multi-million-dollar project also includes a Five Guys Burgers and Fries (this location will have their new milkshakes!), Spoleto Italian Kitchen (a Brazlian-based Italian chain), El Meson Sandwiches (a Puerto Rican fast food sandwich chain), Nature’s Table (wraps, smoothies and more), FRESH -Healthy Cafe (fresh juices, paninis, salads and more) and several others. The new restaurants will open in phases throughout the summer.

Florida Mall is located at 8001 S Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, FL 32809-9132. Will you be lining up for cannolis or cake when Carlo’s Bakery opens ~~this summer~~ Dec 5th?

Can’t wait if heard so much and watched his show now i can really make it reality and have a taste of everything i will need a baby shower cake soon

They have not given an official opening date yet. I even called the Mall management to check. They said it won’t be announced for a few more weeks.

Any idea when Carlos bakery open in Florida mall is it soon I’m over in just over a 10 days and my daughter loves the show

Hi I was wondering if anyone knows of an open date yet? Also how would I apply for a bakers position? It would be a great opportunity!

Please hurry!! LOL… I have a daughter turning “double digits” in September and I HAVE to have a cake from here! She is obsessed with the show….. Last year I ordered cannoli’s from Carlo’s and she almost had a heart attack when she opened them! And then she was Buddy for Halloween! Can’t wait! (but now they are posting that the opening is in the Fall)

Buddy was at the Cake Show at the Orlando Convention Center.
My thoughts are they poor managed his time on Saturday, probably the busiest day for the show. They had Buddy on last and the line for a photo with Buddy was really long and not moving. THEN they had Buddy come back up on stage for a special award to a dear lady that taught him baking skills. When he went back to pictures, only a few got through before they stopped because the convention center was closing. They close promptly at 6:00 p.m. and they mean it!!! They want you out. So many of us were let down because there was plenty of meet and greet time with the other bakery celebrates but the one I personally wanted to see the most – I did not get to shake his hand and get a picture. Very disappointed.
The show was wonderful and I do hope it returns.

Wow, that’s too bad. I would have been disappointed in your shoes too. He’s known to make appearances when new stores open, so hopefully you will be another chance to meet him at Florida Mall. He’s also appearing at Epcot International Food & Wine Festival again this year (Nov 6th).

I hope that the new store will be open when we arrive tomorrow. We will be in Orlando for a couple of weeks. I really wanted to get my daughters wedding cake as she loves the show as do the rest of the family. We are coming over for my daughters wedding.

Can’t wait for the grand opening even though it will take more than 2 hrs for us to drive there.

I’m originally from Syracuse NY & Otto the orange looked amazing. Good job everyone
